Saving & Versioning

Save​

Click Save in the header to store the current state:

  • Tower geometry and section assignments
  • All assets (mounts, antennas, cables)
  • Analysis results (if available)
  • Visualization settings

All data is stored in your TowerPlot cloud account, accessible from any browser.

Versions​

Every save creates a new version. You can:

  • View the version history from the Save dropdown in the header
  • Restore any previous version
  • Compare different versions of the same tower

This is useful for:

  • Tracking design iterations
  • Before/after comparisons (e.g., tenant addition studies)
  • Recovering from mistakes

Auto-Save​

Auto-save is not enabled. Save manually after significant changes to preserve your work.

tip

Save before and after major changes (adding antennas, changing profiles, running analysis). This gives you clean comparison points.
